. I live just inside the I-275 loop in Cincinnati on westside near Indiana and Kentucky and the deer numbers are crazy high. I have one trail camera set out in the very small patch of woods (1 acres) and I get day time shots at does nearly every day. I created a new thread last night and found 1st tree rub last night. Crazy early.

I checked my cameras yesterday. Not much on the Pinhook cam, just does and fawns (including twins). The Williams cam had several does/fawns, and 3 or 4 younger bucks. No shooters on cameras yet.
On the Williams camera, I put out 50 lbs of corn and a 30 lb food block, and both were completely gone after 2 weeks. No surprise on the corn, but those blocks usually last awhile. The coons did help the deer with it of course.
Yesterday morning, in my yard, I had 3-4 does and 4-5 bucks browsing in the back. This is right on the edge of the city limits. 2 were decent looking young bucks, probably 3 years old. There were a couple more deer back in the woods that I couldn't get a good look at, possibly older/bigger. I made a trip to Rural King and picked up a 3rd camera and hung back there, I'll check it in a couple days or so.
So things are looking pretty good in my area this year. Come on October.

Last night turning on our road from highway, our farm is 2.5 miles down county road. I saw 54 deer in hayfields. I am averaging 400 pics a day on trail cams and have 4 bucks over 140" with largest near 170". (Both neighbor and I have pic's of the 170"). Love my home farm and am blessed with great neighbor's that don't over harvest or shoot immature bucks. Our area is looking as good as ever. My hunting buddy who live's 10 miles away is reporting similar sightings.

Living in the suburbs the bucks go nocturnal most of the time, except the small places where man seldom goes. I see does every day and in my new camera. 1st one for my 3 acres. I will check in a couple weeks again. I will not put cameras in the other properties. Too many kids and parents in them. The deer act like rabbits and will not move and you can walk right past them. Only when there is eye contact do the deer get up and run. When I move the camera for the rub I went out twice and scared no deer. On the third time I walked the same trial and to my right I saw the doe bedded down 5 yards in the tall weeds/grass. Then see bolted.

Only chance to see pic's of the 170" will be if I or a neighbor harvest's him during hunting season. Some of the others I posted on couple other hunting sites through facebook. To be honest I have not figured out how to get pic's over to this site. Whenever I do I have to forward to Woody to post. But they are real.

I thought it sounded like you guys had about all the access locked up around you, so I figured no risk in posting. I do hope you get a crack at him though!

Land is locked up but doesn't keep guys from spot lighting our fields and trespassing. Only couple of us know he exist. Probably keep it that way until he is harvested. 19" wide 10 point with matching split G-2's. Only seen him twice this summer so far. Hoping he can't resist my 6 acres of soybeans. Only beans within a couple miles....
