Just another attempt, for the anti-gunners to deprive us lawful gun owners. They can't "grab" our firearms but instead they are going after the ammo!!! QUESTION: How or what are "they" going to do about .22 Rim fires like .22 LR's? ?

I am not so certain it's anti gun followers as much as it's environmentalists. I can say for sure that waterfowl and creatures that prey on sick or dead waterfowl have benefited from the lead ban because waterfowl were ingesting lead shot then they succumbed to lead poisoning.

I believe your correct concerning the environmentalists, as they would have a hand in this banning of lead bullets/shot. However I believe many are also on the "Anti-Gun Team", as there are far more toxic materials in the environment being used and released everyday. This lead ban would also affect those who enjoy shooting skeet as well.

That was a federal ban.. some states, like California, have their own bans in place.

If they can force insurance on us by calling it a tax, they can tax ammo or guns to a point where just the top one percent can afford them. They can do pretty much what they want unless you are a Republican and want to keep terrorist out of the country.

We really do need to be thankful for what we have. And, we need to fight any attempt to diminish it in any way.Did you realize that Austrailia has clamped down on guns in their country? This is but a part of a communication with a friend in Austrailia. After reading it ,you will understand what an awful weapon of destruction he is trying to purchase! G'day All, I have just, after waiting an eternity, completed & Passed the Mandatory & very expensive ($300 ) ! full day, firearms Education course to get my firearms license. It cost over $150 to apply to get the bloody thing in the first place, & on top of that now, I have to wait a maximum further 28 days to receive notification to collect my license, & only then when I have a shooters license number , May I then apply for a permit to buy an air rifle or weapon covered by that category of license Then its another $25 bucks for that privilege. This permit is for one rifle only & if I want to buy two I must buy another $25 permit for each & every firearm.Once the permit to purchase is issued the Police firearms division is notified & come out to inspect your storage safe to ensure compliance. You must then search out & see a local gun dealer to buy the weapon of choice ( which is fairly restricted) & pay for the gun & the dealers charges to fill in the paper work to notify the government of the guns registration number & transfer of ownership into your name Etc . If you wish to purchase a Gun, privately, it has to be done through a registered gun dealer as it is illegal to purchase outside the system with all the associated extra charges to sell & purchase under this system. To my American Fellow members, Please Do not loose your right to bare arms as we here in Australia "potentially" have by exorbitant costs & restrictions . The only people penalized are the law abiding ones ,& this has been proven last week in Melbourne when A Greek Nut who should have been behind bars, was let out on parole by an idiot Magistrate. His car was then used to murder Citizens & their baby's in the street just minding their own business, by running them down .This was compl ![](http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v474/Woowoo1/censored.gif) s never reoffend ed as effectively as Martin Bryant, did here in Tasmania at the Port Arthur.historic site..30 odd Aussies & Friends My suggestion to try ie execute the offenders\\the never REoffend Regards Pete, then-saga continues HE IS TRYING TO BUY AN ADULT AIR RIFLE!!!!!!!!!!!!! That was strange driving over there. Do you think we switched side just to be different? I've never looked into why.

Cincinnati has a new good one. They just passed the 3 foot bicycle rule. With this law it puts a car over the yellow line. There are lanes for the bicycles and if you pass you have to cross the double yellow line. So you have three options. Stay behind the bicycle at all times or break one of the two laws. We need a law that the IQ of a politician must be over 90 which is the low end of average. More "box of rocks" brain politicians.

Especially those liberal Democrats in California. Democrats -72 and Republicans (Rhinos) 0 and conservatives 120 and above. Sorry, if there are any Democrats and or Rhinos in the group. I denounced both parties and I'm a member of the Federalist Party. Praying a lot of running in my local primary as a Federalist.

Confuse me if I'm wrong but I thought I was a republican (rhino as refer) because I am a conservative and vice versa. I wasn't exactly to hip on the term federalist but it appears that in the beginning there were federalist. They were ok with a few representing the masses but weren't really hip on the general public having a true say in what was happening? So the way I read about the Federalist Party is they would greatly represent all current and past politicians in any of our memory.

I really don't like to be put in a bucket. Most buckets fit me so snugly that my lungs struggle to expand. One bucket just barely fit over my head, one got stuck on my butt. I try to stay out of buckets now, actually I think I've developed a fear of them.
Some may belong in a bucket, some look better with a bucket, but me, unless I lose all my clothes to the moths, I won't be sporting a bucket anytime soon.
