My son brought it to my attention this season that he has taken several deer when I have been with him. However, he has never been with me when I've put one on the ground. He has helped me track plenty over the last 8 years. But, he is right so we are out to remedy that tomorrow. We have set together 5-6 times this year and last Thursday he had Wrestling conditioning so I went on a solo sit and ended up arrowing a nice doe. Now he says he's my Jynx. Hoping we can both get one tomorrow out of a buddy stand.

Good luck. Hope it happens. Definitely more special with the kids there.

Good luck! This buck last week was the first one I've killed without dad there, but I've had the pleasure of being there for his biggest buck ever a cool 168 inch buck we were after for 2 years. It's really cool when the roles are reversed, I can assure you that

Weather you kill one or not just being able to hunt with your son is a blessing. I will be taking my 11 yo grandson for his first deer hunt this weekend, a few weeks ago he shot his first duck ever a decoying drake mallard with the first shot from his new/used shotgun.

Took my daughter out last year during gun season and we took a doe. Funny part was she wantedeven to keep shooting as long as deer were in the plot. I had to tell her that we couldn't. It was like the bloodlust was turned on.
