This is the field that I hunted today as shown on Google Earth. I use G.E. for all kinds of research. It's a great tool. The red dots are the locations of my finds. As you can see in the pics it is a drained lake. By standing in the center and surveying the surrounding area it was 10 feet deep max. The area around would have been swamp or marsh. There are three large clay knobs or ridges on the east side. These had the largest amounts of flint chips but are the first to get hit by the locals. I just thought it would be interesting to see where they came from.
