You got a nice one early last year. Do you think this fella is even bigger?
Yeah, my buck was around 130" last year. I think both of these bucks will gross better than that once they're done growing. Now whether they're still in the area come 10/1 is another question.
I also just put out a camera yesterday at my in-laws place, I'm looking forward to what I get out there.

I just remember him looking good and that you got him early. Was it the 4th?
I'm ignorant when it comes to recognizing points; I just know what I like.
Hey, about when do their antlers stop growing around here?

I really like him. So you thinking he is more than 140 points? I need to learn these things. I know several variables go into the measuring, but it's time I start learning these things.
Rodney has some 200, 300 and 400 point deer. I don't know how I'm going to know the difference, but I'm guessing the internet will help.

I'm not a real good judge either. They usually fall into 1 of 2 categories, "shooter" or "not a shooter," lol. I really don't care much about score, I just know what looks good to me.
I think they'll both gross around 140 or better once they're done growing though. There are better score guessers than me on here that may chime in.

I saw they make a sticky style measuring tape that you can tear and teaches you how to accurately score your bucks. I'm with you Jon. When someone asks me what I think a buck would score, I respond with I have no idea but hes a big deer. I need to learn as well.
Take off my hat, take a knee and give thanks to God for my harvest

Here's the 11 pointer again, taken this past week. The other buck is still around too, but a mean-looking worm set-up camp on my lens and ruined most of my pictures of him.
