Shot with a Rytera Bullet X, using Victory VForce arrows with 100g Muzzys. field dressed at 120lbs....... Took out a lung and half her esophagus and she still ran 400 yards at a dead sprint.........the opposite direction of the truck!!!!!  |

That is a nice doe... Congratulations....Did she run downhill too?  I killed a buck last year that ended up in a ten foot deep ditch. Fun and games getting that booger out.. |

She ran up over the ridge I was on....down the other side......through the valley and crawled into a nice thick dry bed. It was easily a 300 yard drag to the pipeline that I have vehicle access to.
I've never seen a deer take off running like she did. Looked like the gate opened a the Kentucky Derby.
She had been spooked by something across the pipeline I was hunting and ran straight across it and under my stand. She was looking back over to the other side when I hit her. My brother-in-law was 75 yards down the ridge and she ran right past him and never stopped until he lost sight of her too.....
