Obviously yes that is true, but when your hitting the same holes repeatedly the bolts start going all the way or most of the way through the bag. So now I have 2 bolts that need fletched and I would prefer to go with quick fletch if they perform well.

So now I have 2 bolts that need fletched and I would prefer to go with quick fletch if they perform well. I had this problem, but someone here recommended that I aim at different locations on the target. I do know that some targets are better for high speed xbow bolts. I have replaced a few dozen bolt fletchings and the ones I use have worked fine. I'm not familiar with quick fletch, but really don't know what I brand I used. I would guess that proper positioning and glue coverage would be more important than the fletching brand. You're not talking about the short ones are you?

Quick fletch works fine on my arrows. No POI shift from factory fletched arrows.

The one's I got are 3" quickfletch made by new archery products. my current bolts have 4" vanes but I suppose if I have to tweak the scope a bit it's no big deal

If anything I would be inclined to say they have helped on accuracy

I had 4" fletch on my Barnett bolts, and found that the 1 3/4" quick fletch was just as accurate, and I believe they drifted a bit less in a cross wind.
I learned quickly not to shoot at the same bullseye twice without removing the first bolt.....

Absolutely I do not shoot at the same spot twice in a row but my bag is tore up from a lot of shooting so I'm due to replace it

Hey, did you have any trouble with the Quick Fletch being a wider vane? ...as in not fitting properly in the xbow rail?

Nope no problems at all with fit or function. only problem I had was my fault leaving it in the boiling water too long and the vane split. The instructions say leave it in for 10 seconds. on my second attempt I left it in for only 5 seconds and it turned out great.

No, the vanes are attached to a shrink wrap with adhesive to adhere them to the bolt /arrow.

It is a sleeve you slide over the bolt. You align it in position and dip in to boiling water but like I said don't leave it in too long. I did it with great results for half of the specified time.

Well, this sounds a lot easier than gluing one at a time.

Well, this sounds a lot easier than gluing one at a time. "One at a time"? Surely not.. I used an Arizona EZ Fletch.. Not this "Mini" one though. I use LocTite Super Glue Gel. It doesn't take long to fletch a dozen arrows.. See... m.youtube.com/watch?v=qPIxMwK8EPc

I've never fletched arrows the old fashioned way as I'm new to hunting and archery but I think it's a no brainer and as long as you align them correctly with the nocks you almost can't mess it up

I like that jig but imo quickfletch is faster and easier and just as reliable and effective

I need to try something different. I didn't know about any of the things you and Woody mentioned.

Well it's around $15-$20 for a pack of 6 quickfletch. Worth every penny to me so maybe give them a try and if you don't like them go to the jig woody recommended
