I shot this this bird on Oct 1st with my new Switchback Xt at 16 yrds. I was hunting in my favorite turkey box blind next to a small clover field in the middle of my woods. I had 3 gobblers fly down off the roost and landed right in my field. i watched them for about 10 minutes and then I decided to shoot the closest one to me. He weighed 17lbs and had an 8 1/2 inch beard.
