It now appears that the long awaited permitting for dog training grounds will get final adoption at the September 2016 NRC meeting.

The package includes several other interesting and held back rule amendments. Held back mainly because of the high fence ruling that DNR/NRC did not have authority over privately held wildlife. Now that Senate Enrolled Act 109 has passed and been signed that authority will return to DNR/NRC as of July 1, 2016.
