It took 4 years to get this buck,the other will no dought be the same,he beat me 4 straight days in 06' ,must be the offspring of the older boy. Congrats, and must say I am envious of your hunting area. ;-) If you see more deer than me you must have more fun though!so dont be envious,before I got that buck on the 24th nov. 05' I hadnt seen any deer at all till that moment. I like the OBR but that buck was not a product of it!,Nor all the other big ones Ive hunted.Ive just always been lucky to find a out-of-the-way place where nobody else can see from the road,almost virgin areas,where those big ones get bigger,the last 2 years I have not seen near as many deer or rubs/scrapes,as a matter of fact,no rubs/scrapes last year.Population is way down around me. |
