Great story and great first bow buck. That one had two more points than my first one.
I would say that you earned that rascal.
I cracked up at the part about your kids "hollering shoot him". Now that is a jewel.
Something none of you will forget.

Fantastic ! I love hunting with my kids...kids in general actually. For another thread I have a couple of great kid stories from when mine were younger !

hey misty, enjoyed your story and proud of you that you took the time to take the youngsters with you, since you live in green county you might want to get the youngsters to go turkey hunting with you, they can make a little more noise in the blind....good luck and thanks for sharing your first harvest and photo(might want to get a nikon digital camera for more memories that will sure to happen.) take a youngster on your next outdoor experience.....turkey scout
