Three deer in one state is plenty for anyone, and if you're giving them away you certainly don't "need" them.

It seems like the deer sighting complaints began after the introduction of the bundles. Lol!

How about annual deer licenses. $50 for antlered, $40 for antlerless, and $25 for any additional antlerless after buying bith the antlered and antlerless. Turn bonus county numbers into strictly county antlerless maximums.
Automatically eliminates the possibility of killing 3 does in a county from current regulations and the price increase should cover the difference licences sold.

#1 Remove the season on coyotes. Make them the same as groundhogs. #2 Make HPRs legal same rules as modern gun season now. #3 Bring back lifetime licenses.

The price of lifetime licenses were the sum of all available hunting licenses multiplied by 20. That be a pretty expensive proposition today with two turkey seasons and multiple antlerless tags. It'd be well over $2K, and the DNR would still lose big time.

Somebody asked how to make up the possible loss of funds, that was my best guess.

Dollars for my bundle and only use one tag antlerless at that lol if we really want to make Indiana a big buck state make it illegal to kill anything over a 6 pointer for 5 years by the time that ends there will be some nice bucks around

I don't shoot wild game and give it away, I will invite folks over to eat with us but I don't give it away. I take only enough to last till next season. I know that a lot of people don't know how to cook wild game and as a result the meat you gave them was wasted on them.

Repeal the hunter orange requirement for pop up blinds on private property.

Three deer in one state is plenty for anyone, and if you're giving them away you certainly don't "need" them. This year: Deer #1 was butchered and given to my 86 year old Aunt who loves deer. Her one son usually gets a deer for her, but you will see why I did it in a bit. She loves Elk, but the deer where she is at (Northern Wisconsin) don't taste as well as the deer here, and she said that the deer here taste about the same as Elk to her. Deer #2 was butchered and given to my cousin. He had a ATV accident 3 days before he was supposed to leave for his annual Elk hunt, and that put an end to his whole hunting season this year. Broke all the ribs on his left size, punctured a lung, dislocated left shoulder, broke collar bone. He's the one that usually gets a deer for my Aunt. Deer #3 wad given to the farmer that lets me hunt his 3200 acre farm, and also got me permission to hunt on his Dad's 800 acres. Deer #4 went into my freezer. Deer #1 & #2 were adult does, #3 was a yearling doe, #4 was another yearling. While all 4 deer that were shot wasn't a "need" (i.e. I won't starve if I don't shoot any), I think they were a lot more of a "need" than a "want".

Nobody needs to justify to me why they kill a deer as long as they do their best to do it humanely

Three deer in one state is plenty for anyone, and if you're giving them away you certainly don't "need" them. There are a lot of hungry people out there. I signed up on the DNR page for donating deer, and had 10 people call me. I didn't get any meat for myself either. It's not a matter of need for the hunter; it's the need of the ones receiving.

I'd make it an automatic two years in jail for shooting a domestic animal (except merciful dispatch of injured animal). That includes but is not limited to dogs and FARMED DEER
