I figured I'd try out the photo posting on here. So why not use the Bragging Board as my test session. ;D Here is my 2004 buck on the hoof. Here he is with my hands on his antlers two weeks later. And here he is on my wall. Rebuilt brow tine and all. After getting field photos of this deer, I was specifically targetting him. I was hoping for a bow kill, but he happened upon me when I had the muzzleloader in hand the first weekend of shotgun. I got to size him up on the opening evening, but a shot never developed. I almost took my bow out with me the next evening, but decided not to as I figured if I saw him again it would be in the same spot, well out of bow range. Just as I had figured, out he came about 200 yards away. At last light, he had worked to about 90 yards tailing a hot doe. I saw my oportunity and took it. He did not go 50 yards. I'm not a big gun/muzzleloader hunter, so it was kind of weird for me holding him as a trophy w/o my bow. Pretty cool deer and a fun hunt.

Very, very nice buck.
One you can be proud of no matter what you took him with.
Nice story to go along with it too.
Excellent job on the mount too..I like that head up look..
CONGRATULATIONS...
