I posted a similar spread on another site ... here are some pictures of deer from our area ...

No woppers with mass like some of those Indiana bucks posted earlier but , good deer for our area ...

Not hard to tell , I enjoy outdoor photography as well as hunting ! ;D

This is a series of shots of a small 7 point that came in just after I had climbed a tree with my climber .... a couple of grunts and he was coming out of the cedar swamp ... he stopped for a second to pee in a scrape , then walked right under the tree ...

This nice 10 point got caught out in the middle of the day , rut drunk , chasing a hot doe ....

Here is a small 8 point that got a little too close during a decoy set-up ...

Here is a nice 10 point in the background eyeing up my decoys ...

A series of turkey shots while hunting in our area ...

A target for 2005 season ! ... this beauty 10 point made it thru the season , in a heavily hunted area .... I found one of his drop offs in the spring ...

Misc bucks up , and down ....

Here are some shots of other deer under the stand ..

The last 2 bucks of 2004 ...

Hope your eyes aren't sore ! ;D .... some photo's from Ontario Canada .... all taken within an hour of home !

Some of those bucks are bruisers in any "neck of the woods"..

What camera did you use?

I couldn't help but think of Red Label when I saw the picture of that the buck and treestand. You took that on a hunt with him didn't you? It seems like just yesterday you all were posting and reposting about that hunt.

And I was hanging on every word.....

Woody : Yep , we have some beauties , but man , you guys seem to hook-up with some whoppers consistently !

From my time in the field I've learned , you don't just trip over them ! .... you guys must put your time in and pay your dues !

Still using my Pentax PZ10 SLR 35mm ..... keep wanting to pick-up a real nice digital ... but have a few things on the list to pick up first !

And for Red Label .... yep we all have been recalling our outings with him .... he would have been impressed with this site as well ....

As you mentioned before ... his spirit will be with us this season ... keeping an eye on our adventures I hope !

Great site Woody .... you are a busy man !

Those are some awesome pics man. I think the ones of the does in the snow and the turkeys are great. My favorite is the pic of 2 does in the snow back in the woods. You can see the snow on the nearest does nose. Really great pics thanks for sharing them

robn : Thanks .... I've never entered in a competition or magazine but have been urged by my buddies to try .... I guess I'm just too busy with family , work , hunting , preparation for hunting , scouting for hunting , tuning gear for hunting ....

You know that time consuming hobby " hunting " ;D

Loving every minuet of it ! and taking pictures for story telling and getting us through to the next season !

turkeyscout : There was a turkey release program approx 15-20 years ago and they really took hold ! There has been a real boom in the last 5 years here in Ontario !

danb , whitetail1 : Yep .... I like the snow as well .... it is much easier to pattern and locate the deer , but the late season is a real test to your warm weather gear ! ;D
