If you have a picture in a file on your PC you can upload it to - www.photobucket.com Just click on the above photobucket URL and when it opens you will have to register. Once you have registered you can upload pictures there and store them.. To post them here : 1) Highlight the IMG (address) which is the bottom category of the picture by left mouse clicking and dragging you cursor over the IMG/address. The IMG/address will look like – img.photobucket.com/albums/v474/Woowoo1/MarksIllinoisdeer2004.jpg[*/img] NOTE: The asterisk * was put in the IMG/address so that it would not show a picture, but just an address... 2) After you highlight it, leave your cursor on the URL/address and right mouse click. 3) A menu will drop down. Select and left mouse click on COPY from the menu The picture is now ready to be posted on the website you want it to be on.. 4) Select the thread you want to post to and hit reply. 5) When you get the reply screen right mouse click. 6) A menu will drop down. 7) Select and left mouse click on PASTE. The IMG/address of the photo is now pasted into the reply area. 8 ) Hit Submit Reply ..and that should do it. Most Bulletin Board operates the same way for posting pictures.

Woody how much would we need to send you to get a direct post from our computers to this site. I have been posting on some sites that do that and it is real easy. I believe this will be a great site and if you need to raise some cash to do this I am willing to help and sure some others will too. Bob

I've researched the provider of this forum and that option is not available. Even for money.
It is easier to post direct if it were available.
I guess we are stuck with going thorugh a photo storage place such as photobucket.

I like the hosting sites better any way so long as it is compatable.
when you post a lot of places you still only have to wait on the up load one time.

I've found out that we can get it wheer t we can post pics form home. HOWEVER, it does cost and if we dont pay the amount every month the pics posted go bye-bye.
IOW- we are buying so much storage space on a MONTHLY basis.
I think we should try and keep it the way it is unless you all have an overwhelming demand to do it..

2 cent's worth from someone who has, over the years, used a lot of free hosting sites that are not there any longer. Back up your pics with a cd to make sure you still have them if your on line storage goes belly up or your hard drive crashes, both of whch have happened to me I use a pay site that I really like and has been around a long time www.pbase.comWW, the only advantage, with allowing downloads from home, that I see is control over pic size and it's a bit easier on the poster

So far I've had excellent luck with photobucket.. Photobucket will edit/size them for you..

Woody,
How about adding size restrictions to your instructions. For example, the picture can not be any larger than 300 x 600 pixels (or something like that).
This keeps the pictures within the viewing frame of most users without having to scroll left to right and/or up and down to view the pictures and all the other post.
This seems to make it a lot easier to see as well as read the post. You can edit the size of a picture in photobucket.

Woody, On my photobucket page I have to put a check under the pic I want then go the the bottom of the page and click generate a hmtl and img code button. After that you just copy the img code then paste on the thread. I dont know why mine has changed but I hope this helps others.

URL, TAG and IMG. Thanks for the heads up.. .

Hello all, I am a new member who joined on Dec. 27th, 2006. Here is a picture of the 8pt. Buck I harvested on Dec. 3rd, 2006. It took me 18 yrs to finally harvest a nice Indiana Whitetail Buck. I have seen many nice Bucks in the woods this season, and this one finished my season off on a good note.
