When hunting at our Illinois lease, we stay at a cheapo motel with the outside doors you can back the truck right up to. Kind of getting tired of eating out, and thinking it might be nice to have a small LP cook stove to set on the tailgate and heat up a pot of chili, fry some burgers, etc. for supper on the nicer evenings.
What brand and type do you guys have and recommend?

I take 2 Coleman single burner stoves that use the screw on disposable canisters and I bring my small microwave along with an extension cord.

Settled on a little single burner coleman unit that runs off butane canisters. Slick set up. We did tailgate venison loin in an iron skillet with taters, onion, and mushroom last weekend at the motel.

Coleman single fuel camp stove and single burner here. It don't get no better than those for me. Almost went the propane route, and still complain about the price the fuel has went to, but with the mileage these things get, can't complain! Still got some old old old original cans of fuel that are rusted to hell my dad had, still works good.
