Well to start with it was raining the whole time you was right found birds on north side of property where there was a few strips of standing corn. Saw 4 roosters and 7 hens if the guys I was with could have shot would have got a couple most flushed far out. Didn't find any quail jumped one big buck. Didn't hunt the south property started raining to hard guy I hunted with had 3 spaniels. I was never close to any would have stayed longer hunted from 9 till 2 just raining to hard. All birds after being flushed left the field just wasn't very good hunting conditions and it was great cover so at least we left some for seed. The quail might have been on the other side of the road.
