I am partial to the covered bridge motel, it is owned by a 2nd cousin of mine, Phil Kurtz. Located in Rockville on 41 just south of the intersection of 36. It would be about a 10-15 minute drive from there to Royal Flush. I can contact him and chat about our hunt. How many are looking for a place to stay?
There are 3 restaurants that I know of in Rockville but I have only ate at the 36 Saloon. They have many taxi mounts of various big game and the food has always been good. On the East side of town there is a place called Benjamins II (I think), never ate there but always lots of vehicles in the lot for breakfast and dinner.

Woody your in the same boat as I am , for me it's a 3 hour drive one way . I'm not sure if my hunting partner can make it , so that means renting a car and do a hotel stay and the hunt , I don't trust my car for a 3 hour drive do to it needs upper and lower ball joints on both sides . I think for me atleast we wait a month for this hunt . Would you be interested in a car pool? I would prefer not to have to stay somewhere overnight.

Sorry for the late reply Bullseye69 , where do you stay at ? I'm taking Route 30 to 41 South . I'll more then likely rent a car / truck unless I buy something before the hunt .

My ice fishing buddy just asked if I'd like to go shoot pheasants before our group hunt. I think I would like it. I need some practice ...lots of practice.
Do you guys remember that episode of Andy Griffith where Barney was singing a solo, but they had another fella singing for him behind a curtain? Barney's mic was turned off. I need to shoot blanks and have someone else knock down the birds for me.

Hey, do we need a federal stamp for a put-n-take? I don't have one yet. I'm not sure that I'll ever hunt waterfowl as I'm seem to be too busy with the deer or lack thereof.
