Spent the last 15 years out of the state serving in the Army and now I'm retired and living in Brownsburg, IN. Looking forward to hunting again in the region and hopefully finding a few places to deer and small game (rabbit/squirrel) hunt nearby. I would like to partner up with someone for a Goose Hunt in the future as I moved to Indiana from the East Coast and I've yet to go Goose Hunting.
I enjoy reloading and I cast my own rifle and pistol bullets as well so I hope to trade some of my knowledge with others on this forum.

Hi Bruce!
Welcome to Indiana and Indiana Hunting. I've never shot a goose either, but sure would like to.
I have a couple buddies in Brownsburg, and one hunts. If he calls me to go goose hunting, I'll let you know.
Most importantly, THANK YOU for your service.

Bruce, first and foremost thank you for your service to this Great Nation! Welcome back to the Hoosier State and welcome to the site. I'm sure you'll find many knowledgeable guys and gals on here and you'll find some that could use the knowledge that you have. Post often!

Thanks everyone for the welcome. I'm a retired Ordnance Officer so I enjoy puttering around with firearms and or reloading a lot. I just put a new 308Win barrel on an old Mauser action this weekend along with an older Redfield Iron sight set and a Harris bipod for some long distance shooting at Atterbury in the future. No scope, just irons Bruce
