Hello all. I live on the east side of Indy and have been a self taught bow hunter since 1995. I've primarily hunted on public land while also having a few opportunities on private land that have lasted a season or two (mainly farms with older farmers who pass on and have family that don't support hunting). In all honesty, I've joined these forums in hope of finding a few like minded hunting individuals which love hunting and tagging mature deer In the past 5 years I have become a bit discouraged with others hunting ethics, as well as, lack of experience while on public land (since these lands are the only opportunity I have to hunt). That being said, I am also the type of person to realize that everyone doesn't hunt like I do and that there are plenty of great folks/hunters who are spread out in the crossroads of America So, here I am signing up and introducing myself to this forum. I am hoping to find a few hunting partners and to link up with the whitetail hunting community in general. Looking forward to the discussions!

Thanks for the warm welcome everyone.
I was wondering what this forum is referred to in tapatalk? I am viewing this forum through my phone and when I first joined there was an ad for using tapatalk to read this forum (versus a regular browser).
However, I can't seem to find hunt-Indiana.com there for some reason?
Thanks again all for the welcome ...

I was new to hunting and the forum world when I joined. I never dreamed a bunch of great hunters would accept me like they did. Tapatalk is through the phone, but I have a lot of trouble with it. I'm sure my daughter could figure it out for me. LOL I know the guys here use it from the field, and it's fun to hear from them on the scene. I usually wait until I get back home. I'm a handicap hunter now, so this will be my first year hunting public land. I'm excited about it, but not sure that I would have done it if I couldn't go to the handicap areas.

I've never used TapaTalk. I think Metamorra has though. Maybe he will chime in?
