I picked deer but only because I am still a beginner turkey hunter, plus I can't hunt them close to home.

Boys and girls, I hunt almost anything that's edible or skinnable and it sure is hard to pick a favorite but I gotta say that rabbit is the tops because of the dogs and the greatest taste, but one of them two year old deer ain't bad eatin and there shore is some meat. I gotta try some Indiana hog next to see if they are as good as East Tennessee hog and if they are we gonna have us some fun with them hog dogs.

I love hunting pheasants with my Springers. Too bad that there isn't a good huntable population of birds close. Deer is #2, with Clays #3. I'd probably really like waterfowl, but I don't have the gear ('cept for pass shooting). Well, I do have a good set of waders and a gun that shoots where I look. Now if I could only look at the birds more often! ;D

Rabbits by far!! I spend about 100 days a year in the woods with my dogs chasing rabbits. I have shot every animal listed there while standing in a field watching my beagles. It is odd how deer, coyotes and turkey will come to see what all the noise is while 2 dogs run the snot out of a rabbit. We had a 10 point 190 pound buck walk within 50 feet of us last year standing on a fence row watching a good chase 50 yards away.
