Wonderful mossberg! I was thinking about squirrels today. I'm thinking that I'll kill 9 or 10 on my hunting ground, and then see what I can get from the handicap forest trails.
Do you think we'll ever make it out to do some put and take hunting?

Jon . I believe we can do a hunt this year . Where and what would you like to hunt ? Oh buddy, I'm up for anything. Not working, I'm flexible and can plan to rest enough for a hunt. We had talked about a put-n-take for pheasant, but I've never shot a goose either. I did apply for a pheasant and dove hunt through the DNR. I don't know how these hunts work, but I know I can't hunt pheasants alone.

yes and no , I have a blk lab but not trained to well . but I do believe that there is a member in here that guides there . I'm going to need help on getting there and there why : Q. Is there a physical address that can be used for my gps? A. No, for some reason the physical address that was given to the preserve location does not work with most gps navigation systems or map quest. Please use the map and driving directions from this web site . And I don't know the area . I LIVE near route 41 , route 30 ( Lincoln hwy way )

I've never done any upland bird hunting but I sure do like birds and dogs and bird dogs Hey, nice photo! You are more than welcome to join us. I think 3 is a good number. I'm pretty sure that it is north of Indy. Do you live that way? I live close to Highcotton, and pretty sure that is where he guides. My dog would find them, but after he attacked you guys. I think he has mental issues; I'm never taking him to get his handgun permit.

I have a stun gun that I've never gotten to use. What is it about those things that just makes a person want to try it? If I didn't have a bad heart, I think I would have already zapped myself. I've tried to talk people into letting me zap them, but that's almost as hard as getting someone to take me duck hunting. That's not too far for me to drive. Not sure why I was thinking you lived south. I guess it was that young fella who wanted to try hunting.

Yeah nick lives south of Terre haute a little We are going to get together and do some shooting and hopefully some hunting this fall At least a stun gun you have to get close enough to touch me with it so bring it along and I'll just keep my distance! I've been bit by them and the shock collar for my dog but I don't want someone else to have the control of either lol

You bet guys...we can definitely make a hunt happen at Royal Flush once season opens. I've hunted and guided there for years and would love to help put a hunt together. If this ends up with more than 3 hunters/gunners, than I will get the word out and we'll get another guide with dogs. Realistically, the season starts around October as the weather is best then. I've guided hunts in September but they can be tough with rough cover and sometimes it's just too hot. My new pup will be along for the ride but will be too young to hunt. I will be guiding this season with my 2 German Wirehaired Pointers, Duke and Pepper. Dennis, I know you might have concerns on health...not a problem. The beauty of a preserve hunt is that we can accommodate different situations easily. In other words if we need to take frequent breaks or rotate gunners while another rests...that works just fine! As for me, the season can't get here soon enough.
