Planted about 3/4 of an acre for doves this year and was wondering what I could plant in its place, for deer, when I'm finished? I was thinking some oats or winter wheat mixed with some turnips or radishes. I have a kill plot about 150 yards from it. Mainly going to use it when the kids want to hunt with me since it's more easily accessible.

All of the seeds you mentioned should work fine. As soon as it is dry enough to plant I am putting out my turnip/rape plot's. They should be planted mid July to mid August or turnips won't fully develop. But deer will still feed on the top's if you plant later.

Plant your turnips the 25th of July "Wet or Dry".
