It was a widely reported story. Pagano still has a lot of friends in the Ravens organization.

Easily. Not as easily as the Pats whipped the Colts but easily enough.... When you accomplish this, you should definitely publish you study in scientific journals. You may make big money!

Doubt most would be impressed....its pretty simple.
What was impressive is how the Pats beat the Colts like a drum.

We get it. You live in Indiana and don't like the Colts.

I like the Colts. My favorite AFC team.
If they had picked up and left Baltimore in the middle of the night 10 years earlier I might even be a Colts fan....but I had already found the Cowboys by then.

As a casual observer reading the texts I would not rule out Tom being set up by McNally. In addition to underinflating the footballs he also talks about overinflating them to screw Brady over. It's obvious the man hates him and it wouldn't take much in this situation to ruin Brady. Why else would you brag about taking it to ESPN?
As for bribery...giving out favors and perks to employees like that is very common in that industry to grease the wheels for perfectly legal requests. It may have been a bribe..it may have been Brady simply asking for the balls to be at legal PSI he desired and trying to get an otherwise jerk of an employee to cooperate for once.
Heck in my line of work I get small presents from the doctors for completing projects and making their projects a higher priority.
I'm looking for more proof by the "NFL police" to implacate Brady then just saying he was "generally aware." Lol
I'm "generally aware" that my next door neighbors deal drugs despite the fact that I've never actually seen them inject. Doesn't mean I can do jack s*** about it.

Ok, then you just like making fun of your "favorite AFC team" by posting, twice, about how badly they got beaten. Or maybe you just like poking hornets' nests trying to get a rise out of people...hmmm.

I am simply sympathetic to Tom Brady's plight because I also know what it is like to suffer and be irrationally hated because I am just too perfect. :-D

I was a Vikings fan. In my Jr year of high school, the Colts came to Indy. I started bleeding blue right then and there. My state now had a dog in the fight. How could I NOT pull for them? I had no choice. It's just how I am wired. I don't even understand how others aren't wired like that, though I have a few friends who never changed after the move.
The only teams I like outside Indy are in leagues where I don't have a dog in the fight. I follow the Reds, though I don't watch a lot of baseball. I am a HUGE Nashville Predators fan. I have 4 Preds jerseys, I go to a couple games a year, I pay for the Center Ice package so I can watch every game...but I'll tell you this...if Indy were ever to get an NHL franchise, I'd drop the Preds like they were hot and immediately get on board with the home team. That is how I roll.

It was a widely reported story. Pagano still has a lot of friends in the Ravens organization. The #Colts had a feeling. They notified the proper parties. And still #DeflateGate happened. t.co/HfX3VwAr6e

I was a Cincinnati Bengals fan long before Indiana had a team. Don't ever plan on changing. Been with them through the good and bad. Most years more bad than good.

OK... One more thing. Why does the NFL not supply the balls with officials the only ones handling them? Is there any other sport where a team supplies their own balls?
I'd say that the NFL was asking for teams to cheat..

I'd say it'll change....at least they will have a tighter leash on them. When different qb's like the balls different ways and have the opportunity to manipulate them it will happen. Aaron Rogers kinda said without really saying he prefers them overinflated.
Pitchers in baseball have doctored balls for over 100 years and those are pretty tightly controlled....

You could easily duplicate that 92% of one team's balls were naturally deflated (after a field trip to the bathroom) and only one of the other teams balls were under inflated? Man, you are good! Exactly.... ![:-*](https://www.ingunowners.com/images/smilies/horse.gif)

I'd say that the NFL was asking for teams to cheat.. Asking for or knowingly tolerate? Same as the NFL drug policy. How many fail it year after year. How many drugs are illegal that aren't on the list. The only time there is an issue is when someone with an ax to grind let's info slip.

The league announced that quarterback Tom Brady was suspended four games, the team was fined $1 million and will lose its 2016 first-round draft pick and a fourth-round pick in 2017. The league has been considering punishment since the release of investigator Ted Wells' report last Thursday. indy.st/1HaFiCDBTW....... Someone start cooking the CROW...lol

Big punishment. Now the appeals process.
What's with the crow stuff? Figured you would have had time to figure out exactly what that means by now.....
If the punishment stands up it most def tarnishes the trophy and Tom's legacy. Obviously the report was enough for the league to lower the boom....

The league didn't call you to show them how easily replicable the situation was under normal atmospheric conditions? That's a shame. All hope is not lost, perhaps the defense team will call. Stay close to a phone.

I'm sure they already know how easy it would be but they don't believe that is what happened....
I'm glad you and Greg are on the same intellectual level on this.....lol.
