A gobbler breed a hen and not be a hen there? The bird my boy shot today, we watched him in full strut for 45 minutes today and several times he would break strut and act like he was breeding a hen. Never seen anything like it. There was no hen anywhere either.

Thinking maybe the region he stayed in the one spot in full strut for 45 minutes was the hen that eventually pulled him to us might have been on the logging road out of sight. Still never seen one do that before. Awesome hunt though.
