Guys and gals, I'm trying to sell this bike for my dad (his mid-life crisis). He just doesn't ride it any longer and would rather see someone else enjoying it. I've pasted the craigslist ad info below. Even if you're not interested but know someone that is, please feel free to forward on my info. Motorcycle guys, is this a fair price for this bike? I've never been in the motorcycle market and just don't know where to start but did a little online research and thought I'd start @ $11,500. Thanks! 2003 Harley Fat Boy 100th Anniversary FLSTFI for sale, asking $11,500 OBO. Black and silver 100th anniversary trim, also has factory alarm/security system. This bike has only 2,560 miles. It has been garage kept and covered with a few rides a year on it since purchased in 2004. Bike is 100% factory stock. Will include HD helmet & cover. New battery Spring 2013. Email, call or text for additional information. 812-344-0671 (jpnolting@gmail.com)

Boilermaker...that is a very reasonable price. I've sold over $200,000 in motorcycles in the last 15 years. I rebuild bikes...mostly vintage BMW's and Harleys. These 100th Anniversary bikes are very desirable, especially since he kept it stock. And 2500+ miles! Holy mackerel, as a certified Iron Butt rider, I'd do that in a weekend! That is a gem of a bike. From my experience, if you want to get the most out of her, list it on eBay. You'll reach a much larger buyer base and you'll find the dozen or so guys across the country who are looking for this exact bike. I can tell you for a fact that there are "boomers" out there that will shell out cash, I'm talking true greenies for a bike like this. I'm very biased when it comes to the '03, 100th Anniversary specials! I wish I still had my '03 Road King!!! I sold that bike a few years ago to a guy from Ohio that had just retired. He had "0" feedback and made no downpayment. He was at my house within 3 hours of the close of the auction and shelled out $14,000 in $100 dollar bills! Craziest thing I ever saw! PM me if you want to talk more details. I can give you quite a few tips on the sale process!
