Hey all! I'm new to Indiana from New York(the state not the city) about a month ago. I'm not considered a resident for this hunting season but looking forward to getting all the info on regs and where to go hunt by next year. Some of the laws seem a bit confusing to me but I'm sure I'll figure it out by next season. I've hunted all my life in NY and I don't think I've seen a deer as big as the ones posted on this site. I'm really excited for the opportunities in the years to come. I'm currently in Delaware county. Thanks for reading

By the way, if you have a smart phone, I highly recommend downloading the Indiana DNR app. It is free. Everything you could possibly need is available there. You can access the hunting regs, buy licenses, check in game, and get info on all state hunting and fishing properties right from that app.
Also, some of us have lived here all our lives and some of the wording of the regs confuse us too. We discuss them here all the time.
