Way to go. Very active here to. JDUB missed a doe. I Had 2 spikes come on trailing a doe, doe moved on but the spikes came back and messed around at 50 yards for a good half hour. Entertaining

[a href="http:/ "]link[/a]Didn't get out today except to change game card. Deer activity is up.'.........at night. Did find several rubs and scrapes on my walk. I'm going to try tomorrow morning and then take another break til the last week of October. Life is super busy and I am hopeful patience will pay off.

Had a 2.5 year old 8-pointer stroll past at 20 yards around 7:00 PM tonight. I chose that tree on the inside of a logging road corner due to the wind blowing from the outside to the inside of the corner, and it worked out perfectly, with him walking the logging road right around me. Too bad it wasn't his great-grandfather. LOL!

Taking my oldest daughter out for any afternoon hunt tomorrow. Hopefully we see something. Don't have to get anything at 7 she's just happy to be in the stand with me.

Put in my first real sit last night, saw 7 does, a 4 pt, and a decent 8, all out of range though. Coyotes were going nuts. Looks like holding off on this spot was a good decision, probably not gonna hunt it again until Thursday or Friday at the earliest.. I've got pics of a smoker buck I don't want to run off before it starts getting good. Plan on hitting the HNF this weekend.

Trail cams are showing activity after 3 pm CST, but more at last light, and most activity is at night. 0 activity first thing in the morning.
Going to move a stand today.

Same here. I picked up a new property this year, and won't step foot on it until at least October 25. I don't have any pics from that place, but it borders ground that I know holds big ones. It's not too far from Crane.

Not really even settled into my stand and already blundered here at the Franklin County lease. A nice young 8 pointer just busted me. He was down in the bottom to my left and I was fumbling around looking for something In my backpack. He bolted up out of the bottom, stopped, looked back towards me and trotted into the woods to the headed west. He was respectable, but probably not a shooter. Hate to get busted!
