i have a crossbow I'm wanting to use this bow season and need new bolts anybody know what kind are good i have a. Jaguar crossbow Barnett Headhunters and Cabela's older Stalker Extreme Xbolts shoot very good out of my Recruit. Both bolts are 300 grain plus the broadhead. The "new" Cabela's Hunter model is the older Stalker Extreme, they just put different fletching on the Extremes now. Hunters run $35 and the new Extremes run $45 per 6. |

i have a crossbow I'm wanting to use this bow season and need new bolts anybody know what kind are good i have a. Jaguar crossbow I've got some 2213s that I can cut down and fletch that will work. But it will be awhile before I can get to it. You can also buy arrows for this bow at Rural King. |

I've seen they are very affordable would like to hear how it performs for you! The scope is junk and Woody was kind enough to get him a decent one. (also beware the scope base does not appear to be standard and I had to shim it to mount this scope, fortunately I have access to real shims so it should be centered correctly) The bolts weren't much either. I can't comment on the unit itself until all the other variables are corrected but so far it has not shot consistently. I'm hardly a crossbow guru but I have been careful to get the pull rope (sold separately) even and all that kind of thing. We shall see. I'd rather stay away from the bolts at Rural King if they are anything like the ones that came with the crossbow. I'm afraid I cannot recommend it. Hopefully we can get it working for him. |

I have read a lot of reviews on it and it said that the scope that.comes with it is junk and the "iron" sights are a bear to mess with but most people after finally getting them zeroed seem to be fairly happy with them... I'll wait to see what your review of it is once you get the other stuff straightened out. I don't expect it to be much but if it can kill a deer at 20-30yds I'll look into buying one |

The ones at Rural King are the same ones that came with the bow..
I've got 4 cut down 2213s that I will send him. Archery Talk guys said flat nocks (inserts) will work and they recommended 17" length which the 2213s are now at..

The bolts helped quite a bit, TNX Woody. Got it dialed in up and down but ran out of adjustment L-R. Either it need a set of Zee rings or I need to play with the shim thicknesses in a couple of spots. Hate to say it guys but I would pass on this one.
