Sorry for the delay fellas..... Stayed down for 2 days of hunting, and got back and crashed. Got the photos uploaded today, so here you go! ;D This was tough for me to leave and hunt for 2 days just after coming home with the baby, but this was something we had planned for a month, and with the late delivery of the baby, I was worried it might fall through. Anyways, Kevin Smith (uglyduckling) of River City Outfitters was coming down from Mishawaka and we were going to hunt for 3 or 4 days, well it ended up only being 2 days with me (baby duties ;D ). We went down to the private marsh in southern Indiana that Paul (duck hunter Paul) and I hunt, we invited Daniel (Hoosiercanuck) to come along, and Kevin brought his buddy Dave that he was staying with and Dave brought his chessie Brutus. I knew it was going to be good, just didn't know how good? The wind was perfect out of the west/southwest. We had to build little brush huts to hide in out in the marsh and hunker down in the water. We saw thousands of ducks and geese, due to some horrible shooting at the get go, we should have had quite a bit more ducks!!! We had several flocks of geese work us and we were able to take 6 of them also. We got some good footage of the hunt and had a great time, I even was able to slide out for a short period and shoot a goose and duck myself while Paul ran the camera. It was a good time!!! Kevin Smith of River City Outfitters His buddy Dave Paul Kinslow (duck hunter Paul) Daniel (Hoosiercanuck) Paul and Daniel with the geese Our days take, 6 geese, 1 hen widgeon, 2 black ducks, 10 mallards, I also forgot to mention that Kevin shot a banded drake mallard!!! No photos as he immediately took it off and put it on his lanyard!!! And the group photo

No - the smile after you found out about the band should have been captured on film for sure - that will give us the definite proof...

It went well. Not as many birds but we had enough to do very well with had we not had a young buck that just couldn't make his mind up about how to do things. Cody, if you read this I apologize but sometime you have to work with what you have. We changed the spread THREE times. Every time we were changing stuff around we had killable birds working. It's not my spot so I just go along with the other opinions. Either way it was fun and very sore for old dave. I met alot of new people that I would hunt with again in a heartbeat. Many thanks to all the people that invited me to hunt with them while I was down. Kevin

You weren't running your company, you were telling everybody about your BAND ;D. If I had shot it, I'd still be on the phone telling anybody that would listen ; Thanks Daniel. DHP
