Hello everyone! I moved down to Indiana 3 years ago this May from the southern cornfields of Michigan after graduating college. So, not much different with respect to land type, except the corn field are MUCH bigger down here. But many differences with respect to hunting rules, regulations, and dates. I lived in the city for a year and moved into a rural house in northern Henry county 2 Novembers ago. I'm liking living in the country much better than in an apartment in the city. You should have seen some of the looks I got bringing a deer back to the apartment complex. I've been slowly learning more and more about the hunting and fishing in Indiana. However I have a bunch more to learn now that I'm tackling turkey season this year. I'll be frequenting the turkey forum frequently to learn about the idiosyncrasies of tracking down a thunder chicken in Indiana. Thanks in advance to everyone for your words of wisdom to this transplant from Michigan!

Hello gwh!
Welcome! This is an awesome site; I really appreciate it. They've been so very helpful to me in starting my hunting adventure in my old age.
Thanks for sharing about yourself and good luck with the big birds.
