Death is often not humane or dignified no matter how we want it. Seems like maybe karma caught up with him.

I feel sad he was convicted over 20 years ago and was just now executed.
Put in place an appeals process and time limit of no more than 5 years after original conviction and once that time comes and goes .... drag em out back and put a .22 behind their ear as they kneel on the ground and squeeze the trigger.
We spend millions/billions of dollars each year housing folks we are eventually going to kill. Just kill em already.

I think he probably got off easy.
That said, I'm mostly sad that people like this man are content to surrender completely to sin, wasting their life and ruining others in the process. It's very sad.

He deserved nothing less than what he gave his victim. When there are witnesses or video to the crime just skip death row and just get in line. 30 days max.

Waaaahhhh! Take it like a man, you know what you did. Ironically, because of cases like this the question of lethal injection as a means of humane execution(oxymoron?) is causing some states to revisit the idea of firing squads or hanging to replace it. I figure it this way, if you're going to kill someone with drugs then why not take some of that confiscated heroin from the police and fire the guy up with an impossible to survive hit? Convict dead instantly, no cost to the taxpayer, win-win, I say.
