I got a waterfowl contest started on Indianasportsman,, any of you fellars wanna do one on here also? Just fer chits and giggles of course,, same basics on here also,, best drake photo??? With Woodrow's approval of course!!!

Yep,, a official waterfowl contest would get a lot of the fellas that don't post much to maybe post a few more times. At least that's whats happening on indianasportsman. It gives everyone an excuse to post up pics that normally they might not. Sure we all know the loud mouth fellas,, myself included,, that always post. But this
would give us all a chance to view a lot of the wonderful birds that are taken around this here great state we all love. Any one else wanna head this one up?
Just for a example,, what we have outlined on indianasportsman.com is to have 3 ways to win. This is not about who kills the most,, or who has the best camera,, or who has the best whatever!! The 3 categories are,, So even the guy that only hunts one day out of the season has a good chance to win also
BEST DRAKE HARVESTED
BEST MIXED STRAP
BEST BLIND VIEW
Rules are it just has to been done in Indiana! Hows that for easy? Couldn't be much simpler. Since Woody doesn't want,, maybe one of the other MODS on here might wanna step up to the plate? How about it Duff,, you would make a good HNIC to spearhead this thing into action?
If all else fails on here,, everyone is more than welcome to join the fun on indainasportsman OFFICIAL 2013 WATERFOWL CONTEST. I sure would like to see one started up on here also,, since this site is one of my choice's to visit each day.

Hi pigeon,
I appreciate your consistent effort to get this going. You are correct in that people who normally don't post get a little exposure and that's always nice to see. We're getting a lot more action on the deer forum since the season started.
Yes, you can be a pain, but we all can at times. I don't plan on hunting much, but I sure want to give it a try. If I get one bird this season, I'll be tickled.
If nothing else, we can post the photos here.

Yep featherduster,, if ya re-read my post,, you will see that I did not say Woody did not want us to have a contest,, I did acknowledge that he did indeed say we could have one,, he just did not have the time to run it. And if ya re-read you will see where I also said I did not want to run it. And if ya re-read you will see where I asked if anyone else wanted to spearhead the operation and wanted to run it. So,, featherduster,, would you like to run a waterfowl contest?? I will pay for your gas if you do.............All we need is a fearless leader and this thing is a go!!!  |

There goes the neighborhood..... We don't allow deer hunter in this neighborhood,, this taint a one duck state,, go back to never never land!!! By the way,, the winner of the waterfowl contest wins a 3 day hunt with the LEGENDARY Brewersville Outfitters himself,, Senior Greg Hopper!!!! Drop tines are optional!! Waders are a must,, cause it will get real real deep!!! |

I don't hunt waterfowl, simply because I have to shew 50 of them out of my yard every single day...but reading this thread as a casual observer, ya'll are weirdos...I think I'm missing out!  |
