In the last waning moments of light Stephanie had 4 does come across the field to us. She had a volunteer stop broadside at 110 yards. She let the .44 ring and absolutely laid the smack down on the Brown weed patch at 90 yards!
With the misting rain the scope fogged up just enough that the crosshairs settled on the wrong spot. I saw the round hit dirt, so I'm certain it was a clean miss. After we watched those 4 move on we saw their big brother about 200 yards behind them. He actually stood in the field and watched us walk to the truck. Pretty cool experience.

She is a toughie for sure!
You all still made memories and that is what it is all about

That is a great lesson that will serve her well in all walks of life! As long as there are minutes left on the clock, you have a chance. Hopefully next time she will seal the deal.
