It is far to early to know what will happen anywhere at this point .EHD comes late in summer after high temps a nd drought conditions .It could do like last year and simply stop raining in July and turn very hot .That would be enough .
Or it could see high water /flooding in low areas that dries up into lots of mud and create the perfect midge fly breeding grounds .This is a time will tell thing for all of us .

Any report's of EHD ? Just within this last week I have noticed a alarming amount of BUZZARD's circling in the sky on my drive to and from work. Havn't heard of any being found, but I don't like to see the buzzard's. makes me a little nervous. Got a good soaking rain today which is a good thing.

I "think" ( I can get in trouble trying to do that) that the vultures are migrating. We did find a dead doe by the road on our property. She was not very close to any water though and her hooves looked OK.. We did see a pretty good number of vultures by her and over close to our food plot - which we are late getting in. We didn't see any dead ones there . Cool and fairly wet summer might keep the midges at bay....

Don't know of any report's. I suspect there will always be a few that EHD get's no matter what the weather. Just hate seeing buzzard's cirling in the area.
