I'm with ya John! With all the retention ponds & goose crap in the yards I'd have bet the farm that all the donut counties would have gotten a late season... keeping in mind that Dave's list is not carved in stone.....

www.duckhunter.netThe Indiana forum is a joke. This place is much nicer. Some of the other forums over there are decent. Traitor!

Why Wells County it is in the middle of BFE with no big cities anywhere near it.. WHy these counties also out in the middle of no where. Parke, Vigo, Clay, Greene and Sullivan

Terre Haute is in Vigo. Parke, Clay, Green, Vermillion and Sullivan share a border with Vigo. Or very close. That is the best I can tell you why those were proposed.
Maybe they just inadvertantly left off Hancock??? He did say these are just proposed and subject to change so you still have some hope.

Is it possible the overpopulation of housing developments and lack of much hunting ground is the reason those counties were left off..........or is the DNR still pizzed about the whole Geist thing?

There are places to hunt in those counties they just didn't put them on there.

The only reason I could imagine they left them off was they were limited to the # of counties they would allow and wanted to spread it out. But I really doubt that scenerio also, who knows. As Buster pointed out it is proposed not set in stone yet. Time will tell
