Matt,
I already have it down on the calender, I will be there for sure and possibly there for the duck but I wont be calling in the duck unless there is a meat style, do you know if there will be?. I am already excited for it since I missed last years state comp. Are you going to call in any , duck or goose?
Haha I was just givin you guys a hard time about being old anything under 40 is still kinda young, I guess haha

Yeah, I'll be competing in the state duck. They do have a 2 man meat duck contest, it is alot of fun! It is on Sat. 18th following the state duck contest.

First let me say welcome and second never, ever post a picture of yourself or let Travis take one of you. If you do you'll shiver every time you log into this site.
As for age, in my mind I'm the pup of our bunch reaching 55 this October. I'm also the only one who don't care if I go all season without killing any banded birds.
OH crap we have some of them professional callers on here. John/Travis you best be doing some call practicing along with your physical training this summer.

John/Travis you best be doing some call practicing along with your physical training this summer. They should be running sprints, carrying decoys and breathing through their calls ONLY. And someone should be there to video tape and take pics since Travis is in on the training side. |
