Well......the goose I did earlier in the year looked like it was dead even after I finished it... matter of fact, it looked like it had been ran over by a semi in a pouring rain storm! LOL.
Dead mounts look awesome, and the actually look like the'd be pretty easy to do since you don't have the same amount of grooming as you do a flying, or standing mount.

Ah, sprigs and redheads-two of my favorite birds. Were these by Shane Smith? He does some fine work. Had a chance to meet him a few years ago and what a nice guy also. Heres a few of our mounts www.hoosiertaxidermist.com/waterfowl_taxidermy.html . Keep those birds dusted and they will look good and last a long, long time.
