Im not looking for anything crazy but would like something that works. I got my 7 year old out quite a bit last year and caught a bunch of baby panfish but nothing worth writing home about. So I guess you could say we're just getting into fishing and want to use the duck boat more.
If possible, the transducer should be able to shoot through the hull of an aluminum boat. If not, i can always try and find a vexilar transducer for it. I want to leave it on the boat all year and not worry about knocking it off while duck hunting.
Again, nothing that will break the bank but works would be beneficial.
