Any metal detector type guys/gals on here ? i was just wandering what you run and why you chose it in particular over others .
I run a Fishers F2 ... simple answer COST . I got 2 coils and the pinpointer combo, 8" coil and 4" coil . Good little machine, was going to up grade it with the new 11" coil until I saw it was half as much as I paid for the whole deal .... who needs an 11" coil anyway LOL ;D
I don't need the 7 & 8 hundred dollar machines, the gold in these parts is too small to detect anyway . I'm mostly coin shooting and looking for jewlery and stuff ... I really enjoy shooting ol building foundations laying around in the sticks that I stumble across . A few old barns have come down here lately that I'd like to shoot around if I can get permission.
