They suck. Saturday Night every forecast said sunny for sunday and it was cloudy and rained all day. Which worked out well for hunting birds. Today (monday) both news casts i watched said the morning commute could be interesting. Which to me means rain snow and clouds. Guess what It was Beautiful out this morning and we quit early and saw no birds. I wish i had a job where i could be wrong everyday. Angela Buchman owes me now  |

Look at the 10-day for next week. Figures that as soon as duck season goes out its going to get cold and nasty......

Work unfortunatley, Austin for a Mechanical contractors association class. I looked into staying down for a few more days to hunt but it wasn't going to work very well, I didn't want to buy a license for 2 days of hunting and can't really miss 2 weeks of work straight.

The only thing I miss about BSU is seeing Angela's forecast every day. I could never tell you what she said though.

Unfortunately, our season is out up here now.  I just don't get it, in Michigan, just 5 miles from where I sit, they get to hunt them all winter with a 5 bird/day limit, yet here we are down and out. Apparently, those birds don't know where the MI/IN line is and just stay up there.  Someday, maybe, someone with some common sense will establish some real goose seasons. |

I heard, and maybe it was Hotshot that was telling me this (can't remember), that they are looking at the whole SJB zone thing and maybe adjusting the seasons more reasonably. I sure hope they do.
I really can't complain. This year was the latest goose season we've had that I can ever remember. It was definitely nice to be able to hunt later in the year. But honestly, we really need a later season to reduce the local population. Let's face it, with warmer winters, more golf courses, and now detention ponds on every corner, the birds are not migrating like they used to. They need thinned out bad ... and I'm just the guy to do it! ;D

They still suck 911....... an inch of white was the guaranteed stone cold lock of the day by 7am, and from where I'm sitting it hasn't even had a flurry hit the ground!

They are all freakin' ou since we haven't had a good snow this year... They love to make folks think that white death is on it's way so they are jumping at the slightest chance that we could get some snow. I can't do anything about 'em....

And tell them to quick saying "we got lucky" when it doesnt snow. How do they know what i want i think most people would like to have some snow every once in a while. Especially that Art guy who thinks Angela wants him.
