In at Harmonie. In a silver F150 with Charmer Baits on back door windows. If anyone sees me stop and say hi.
No problem Jason. I think we'll be good.

I've got a feeling it will be three down before you hang it up. You sitting in the same spot? Anyone in the "white trees?"

I'll be at Prophetstown, B3. i used to hunt that property before the state took it over. used to be loaded with deer. my brother hunted in b27. he missed a shot at a giant. as for me i had a couple walk through before shooting time and that was it. going to change it up tomorrow.

I hunted a small piece of private land right in the middle of the park up to the year that the park hunts started. I think I saw deer every time I hunted that place. Now I don't see them very much when I drive throuh. Surely they will give it a rest next year.

Cousin killed an 8 point at Versailles. Guys checking him in told them as long as 25% of hunters are successful each year that they will have hunts. We seen 9 deer on the first hunt and that's more than we've seen the last 6 years or so. Wasn't a whole lot of shooting.

Hunted all Monday and until about 11am on Tuesday at Harmonie and didn't see the first deer. Not sure how many hunted on Monday but on Tuesday they only had 30 hunters show up.

TJ,
Did you kill all that you saw?
You're usually good for three from that location.
Did your buddy do any good the first hunt?

I killed two big doe and a smaller doe in the orange zone at Versailles State park on the 1st hunt they had. Never did see a buck. One doe field dressed at 155 lbs. Biggest doe I've ever killed.
