4 and up. BB is prefered by me. I used to change for ducks and geese but now shoot BB only, unless I am bumming shells... I have only used steel, if I were to use hevishot I would drop down to 4s probably.

Duck/geese 3 or 3 1/2 in steel BB's. Just depends on where or what I'm hunting I may change chokes (mod or imp cyl).

BB. I used to be like duff and change but figured out I was throwing a decent pattern with the BBs. Now I don't have to fumble around when I here some honking in the distance.

I shoot 2 3/4 inch 4's in the early season. When they start putting on down I go to 3 inch 2's for everything.

I've been shooting winchester supreme's 3.5 BB's with a patternmaster. I see that they've come out with a winchester supreme ELITE this year. I bet those are going to be cheap.

I've killed a lot of ducks/geese with Remington Sportsmans. I think those are about the cheapest shells I've seen. When you are a poor college student, you make do.

I split a case of remington sportsman with a buddy due to their cheap price tag. They didn't pass the water test very well. Experts and Kent Faststeel worked for me and have done much better then the sportsman on the water test.

I shoot 2 3/4" 4 Hevi for geese and 2 3/4" 6 for ducks. The Hevi's are expensive and I've taken to what a friend does: buy one box every week so that I don't get sticker shock and I can hide the evidence from my wife a lot easier.

early season for woodies and teal, steel #4's after that steel #2 for ducks and geese, then after the ducks go out, steel BB's for the late season honkers.
