Where could a guy go to nail some early geese? I have hunting ducks once, but don't anyone in this state who goose hunts. Give me some ideas on locations and set ups to try please!

I've not seen the regulations yet but my guess would be 1 September, that's always been the opener as far as I can remember. Early season regulations should be out very soon.
BTW, the season dates and limits I posted originally are for New Jersey's 2006-07 Migratory Bird Early Seasons.

Dove usually starts Sept 1. I think its going to be a dynamite year for them too.

i wish the books would come out so i can let the boss know what days i wont be there. i know it usually starts sept.1 but they usually have 2 days for the draw hunts. how will they do that because the 1st is on a friday. then sat. usually open. so i dont know how that is gonna work.

If anybody plans on whacking some Indy canadas in early September I would love to come along! I can shoot... or film... but I love seeing those things come out of the sky. Of all the places i have to hunt I can't seem to find geese on any of them... seems to be a niche market for waterfowl permission.
