Another tip, I like to hunt near a Creek, River or Stream. I have found over the years that Turkeys like to roost near those places. I like to hunt Turkeys, like I hunt deer. I usually don't chase Turkeys like most guys do. I will set up near a good funnel spot, or a Creek, or on a Ridge top, and I will literally sit there all Day long. I have found that Turkeys will often funnel down these places at any time during the day. Also, Turkeys may come in too your calls without making a sound, just because you don't hear a Turkey Gobbling, it doesn't mean they are not in your area. I have shot several Toms, that came in to me quietly, without making a sound. So keep this in mind. And, if you do call, don't over call, many or most guys call too much, IMO Have a good Season.
