Hope you all have better luck than me. Was a wet day on the water, not real fun. Plus the waders I just patched now have a 1 1/2 inch gash in the boot. Oh well beat the heck out of work!

Just remembers ducks can almost see as good as turkey. Stay low, stay hid, and stay still. They can see everything. If the birds aren't decoying, or if they're doing a bunch of checking you out and not committing.... CHANGE IT. It's better to spook a few changing your decoys than it is to leave it and not have birds commit. Watch the ducks... they'll tell you what to do. Movement in the decoys is a must right now. It has to look natural. They've seen a TON of spreads and hunters from Canada to wherever you are. It's cold out there, so where lots of layers! Good luck! Let us know how ya did.

I guess you're right. It's not as cold as it should be. The boot on my waders has a hole... So I spent all weekend with a wet foot. That was cold.

Where ya hunting? Sounds like it will be a fun trip! Is it guided or a do-it yourself deal?

Sounds like the Goose Pond is becoming quite the hot spot for water fowl.
