have you ever seen one? how rare are they? One was spotted on our woods during the shotgun opener.

it was all white except for a red tail

I'd say pretty rare, I have seen some with white splotches and one with a white tipped tail but never a solid white body.

I think they are against the law to kill in Indiana.
I know in Olney Illinois it woudl get you a very big fine as they are very protected.

That would have to be a local ordinance Woody. Otherwise wouldn't it be described in the hunting regs? That is a crap law if it truely is!!!!

Woody speaks the truth about Olney!!! It's fame is home of the Albino squirrel. We have seen a bunch of them while fishing East Fork. Woody, have you ever fished at the East Fork Lake in Olney? We done pretty well on gills and crappies there. Supposed to be some good walleye in there too.

Unless things have changed it is legal to take albino deer in Indiana on public & private ground.
