Saw a huge buck being checked in at Otter's grocery Sat. morning in Cross Plains, IN. Super wide I'm gonna guess in excess of 26" !!!!! Main frame 12 with lot's of kicker's. (Said 22 total scorable point's??) I'd guess it will gross 170's maybe 180's but will have some deduction's. I didn't take a pic, but saw some on face book of it also. Regardless one heck of a deer. I'm sure someone will post some pic's shortly.

Was it killed by a 12 year old? I got a text message of a huge buck killed by a kid in East Enterprise. It was really wide too. Might be the same buck

No one E.E. was killed in youth around 180. Another killed last last saturday by another youngster maybe 160's. The one in cross plains guy was in late 20's I'm guessing, but the buck was hugh. Never seen one so wide I'm telling you. I should have took a pic but was in a hurry and did'nt want to bother the guy he allready had a group of people around him.

Boonechaser-- My friends son took a guest to a farm we can hunt, and he shot the buck you saw. It grossed 190 and netted 172 as a 11pt. It had a broken brow tine. You could put 2 five gallon bucks between the rack and they would fall out. It is an unbelievable rack.

Had pictures of him from last year, but no one saw him. I believe he lived there. Disappears in bow season from all cameras. He was out cruising in the morning when shot. If you goto eagle county radio 99.3 online eaglecountryonline.com on look under deer of the day November 16th. Kids name is Derrick. That picture does it no justice. It was huge! Posting pics on here is a pain in the rear. Cant figure it out.

...not to be THAT GUY, but ...those trees look pretty leafy in the background of that pic. I know for a fact that there were a couple booners killed by youth hunters from milan during the youth season. Haven't heard about any big ones recently though.

I think it was from the youth season. I don't know for sure, just got the picture texted to me the other day with no info attached. Who knows how many phones it has went through. I couldn't see the green trees in the background until I sent it to the computer and enlarged it.

Don't care one way or another but i have heard alot of negative's about this deer. Mostly from a neighbor whom say's this is leased ground of which the leasee's were cited last year for baiting??? And asked me about vehicle they were checking deer in and HE said same vehicle they were driving was seen late night after shot's were fired ?And saw same vehicle driving down road with deer in truck bed? ? Who know's??? said they reported to local CO. Who know'sagain???Suppossed to be hunter's from out of state?? (West Virginia??) I don't know but the guy I know is a stand up guy and I can't believe he would be this upset if something in the gray was'nt going on. (HOPE NOT) Big deer. Might be a local upset about a out of state's killing a big deer, but he has never impresseed on me that he is that kind of guy, just that they have had multiple problem's with the people whom are leaseing the property. IF YOU KILL A BIG DEER YOU HAD BETTER BE ON THE UP AND UP CAUSE YOU WILL BE TRIED IN THE VIEW OF PUBLIC OPIOION. Knowing this guy all my life SOMETHING smells?? Sorry I started this post!!!!!!!!!!!!

Boonchaser here is another pic of the buck. The story I got last night was it was killed on leased ground by someone from WV. A friend of mine handled the rack and said it carried 5 inches of mass the entire length of the main beams, so that is what upped the score! Attachments:

HOLD ON we have 2 different buck's here. Yes old3arrows this is the buck I saw being checked in and the one I am getting "under questionable circumstance's information on. " The deer muzzleloader is referring to is posted under Eagle 99.3 website Nov 16th photo. These are different deer and don't want this young man to get caught up in this story.
