Any reason I should bring a climber or 2 for anyone? I'm on call that weekend you are setting stands so it would have to be that friday.

Went to work on a double ladder stand today on the Gibson property, while sitting in the blind working on the shooting rail i had 6 does come in about 4:30, they all got within 50 yards... watched them for about thirty minutes, and seen a decent 8pt and fork horn come in within 15 yards of me......

UPDATE -- I'm working nights Friday...which means that I'll not be at camp until noon or later. I'll try to get Dustin there Friday evening to lead the effort on the north properties. Lugnutz will lead the group on the south properties.
Looks like we'll need only one or two stands set up on the south, because we have a few two man stands there already. I'll check with Lug on instructions down there. May do one ground blind there in case we need it, have one but it won't be much good unless they get some corn in at that spot.
That will leave 2 or 3 ground spots at the north, and no more than 8 double set ups. Have one double stand already in a good spot.
When I get there, I'll be working on the trailer and John's trailer. The door has blown off of it in one of the wind blows.

I'll get the bright and early Saturday. I'll bring 4 stands and two blinds, bright eyes, surveyor tape, and the Big Dog treestand locator lights (10).
Any mentors that can come and help can also scout an area for their hunt.

I've got extra climbers. I'd prefer not to use them unless we have some olders youngsters that have used them in the past.
My plan is to do a quick scout jog Friday night or Sat. morning and only hunt the hot spots. I know Lug has that already covered down south, so we just need to look over the upper property.

Woody, I can't remember how many hang ons I have in the shed, so if you have 4, I'll send Dustin enough money to buy some at Menards on the way up. If you get time, see if they will give us a discount rate on them or even a couple of double ladder stands. Both of them are in this weeks sale paper.

There were several ln there last year. I can make a run up there and see if you want me to. I've got a lot to haul and it might take two trips anyways. I might be able to cabbage on to another two stands..

Yes, that would be great. I'm hoping for a double stand set up in the pump house woods, and one on the far north end across from the duck blind. Then check the other places that you know.

I'll be there about 8 ish CST WW Unless James is familiar with the property, and others and that might be comming. I'd think it would be a good idea to have a scheduled meet time. Or at the very least some cell numbers passed around, for when a newbie arrives. I know i'd feel uneasy pulling up to the property and nobody was their.

If you guys coming from the south want, you can meet with Jason in Princeton and finish with the south properties first. Dustin and Leslie can work on the north.
What we need there is at least one ground blind spot. Might knock or weedeat the weeds for it, and well POP up a blind later. Mainly need stand locations marked well enough that first timers can find them. Jason will be the lead man down there, so check with him on times and location.
Hors at the trailer now, got some issues that he's working on. Looks like the water heater is bad. Anyway, ill see you Sat. Noon or so.
