Idk if this was already posted but....Where in Indiana are good turkey hunting grounds on public land. I am planning on going to HNF with only a day of scouting since its so far from me. So was just curious if there are any other places?

There a lot of turkey in the HNF. As stated above where? I have hunted the area around Story and I have almost always heard birds and not just 1 or 2. I have killed there too.
The other question I have is what part of the state are you in? There may be some good public ground areas nearer to you. Anymore info?

Flat out LOADED with big toms!!!
NOTE: as Kevin indicated, the millitary side is much better than the state side if you are drawn to hunt there

I live in muncie. As for where at HNF...idk yet. We have never been which is why I was curious so we can get a idea of where we will be going to go hunt and camp out for few nights. Gratz on those turkeys to btw. Ill have to check that place out also.
